Still a deterrent... Most people who own a homes have a home alarm hooked up to the local police or a dispatch service. My 2013 did have a factory alarm but starting in 2014 and all subsequent model years Mazda got rid of the burglar alarm as a cost saving

Here are the pics, drives nice. The fender sound system is much better than the Bose I had in my CX-5. The start-stop is a bit "weird", still trying to get used to it. I still have much to read, these owners manuals are like encyclopedias now!

Happened to my cat when bought new. It simply means that not all the monitors are set/met. Look at the service manual to know what all the monitors are and under what driving conditions the pcm determines the monitors set.

Are you using 0-20 and how often do you change oil? I use kendall 0-20 and change every 7500 miles and there is a noticeable drop in oil by the time I change. I have about 45k miles.

They are ok but because of EBD, the rear ones will wear out faster than the front ones. I am coming up on 44k and my rear ones are just about shot

Mazda needs to step it up with the 17 CX-5. The 2017 Tiguan is really looking good and loaded with lots of technology and I believe the 2017 Forester is also due for a major refresh.

Got my module replaced today and all is well now. USB stick does resume where left off, no more starting on the first track. I have an Android phone so the IPhone/Ipod issues were not a concern to me, only the resume at startup.

tsb and recall are 2 different things. I don't see why you didn't email/fax a copy of the TSB that the OP provided - this would save the dealer from doing the research and would clearly contradict their statement that "Tsb wasn't available"..

I did. I just emailed my dealer requesting that they order the parts - no questions asked, no fuss It just depends on the dealer....

There is a tsb for this, I had it done. The tsb calls for replacing the seat recliner switch with one of a different shape that will prevent your thigh from accidently hitting/touching the switch I had the tsb done on my car
