Honda Accord sales is in bad shape compared to Camry. Most on ToV think it's the lack of incentives. Might be the same with CR-V.

Wonder why the new vehicle is 2016 with the recent release - Mazda usually make them as next year's model year. Anyone compares this with MDX (ie the soon to be released 2017 with facelift)?

Yeah, people shouldn't assume things. Think about it, everyone would love to drive a 911 if they could afford it.

There has been little after market support for the suspension components, shocks etc. maybe that'll change down the road?

It would be nice if they upgrade the Sport with 2.5L and keep the manual.

They said that the manual for the 2.5L will be available at a later date. 2.5L touring trim seems to have all the right goods; I think I might take this over the Mazda6 touring.

People who want the 2.5L and no toys can get the Mazda6 sport, $20,990. S Touring trim is quite nice, although it's in the GTI price range.

The current RDX is well designed and made, and is doing very well in the marketplace. The only negatives are the lack of 40/20/40 rear split seat and that Acura took out the SHAWD. Try both, and decide your needs. I'd take the regular RDX vs. the CX-5 GT, but obviously CX-5 Touring is a...

If you need to haul lots of stuff (i.e. always more than 14 cu ft), CX-5. Otherwise, 6.

I've hauled a twin size from Costco using my 2002 CR-V (inside), so I'd think CX-5 should do fine. Just lower the front passenger seat back.

In the latest June paper issue of Car and Driver, CX-5 handily beat RAV-4 and Forester. Mazda6 also scored a win against Accord.

This car's technologies are so new, your guess is as good as anyone's. A bit of reliability data is available from CX-5 owners, but longevity wise, only time will tell. If you are patient, get the 2nd year model. Mazda reliability is quite good, and made in Japan may also help.

I'd say talk to shops that deal with electronics installations, or talk to dealers. New owners aren't likely to do any of this.

Nitrogen filling doesn't do anything. Just check and fill air yourself.

This dark blue is very nice. I saw the Reflex Blue in person on a cloudy day and was a bit underwhelmed. It would be nice to have either the stormy blue or the brighter sky blue on the CX-5.
