The 3.7L is a stout motor to begin with and it's being used across the Ford, Mazda and Lincoln platforms. Some with more power. So I'm wondering can we swap some parts over to help us gain more power? Throttle body, Intake Manifold, etc? There's not a lot of aftermarket support for this engine...

Took mine to Mazda today, they ran a few diagnostics and filled it with 5w40. Only has smoked once and I let it idle for about 5-10 minutes every few days. If it does it again I will be taking it back to Mazda. Have only had the CX-7 for 3 months and have already taken it twice to the dealership lol

I guess the better question is are you going to use it. If the answer is yes, then go for it. If you just want it for looks, well you know what my answer will be. We've got a CX-7 and it doesnt have one. I would love to purchase one, at least to put more cargo on top (ie skis/bikes/etc)
