six puck clutch disk i think you'll find. yes, plenty of people use them. i use one also. as long as it isn't brass button you'll hardly notice it (well maybe a little ;))

and ignition on - don't forget ignition must be 'on' to connect! but to be fair, the microtech doesn't have anything to do with the starter motor firing. this is a different problem altogether.
