Probably right. I have some other strategies to try (using AC to bring down humidity. Also, apparently it's bad to use the round vents in winter or some crazy thing a dealer told someone). I don't have a block heater yet - darn car came without one (I thought it had one already, my mistake!).

I can tell you my impression of the tires (I have same car as Dre): they *blow donkeys* in snow :) Very hard to get started sometimes, even at a very slow pace. My impression of the heater has improved. I was just cranky that day and it was a blizzard.

Well, I bought it. If it arrives and I don't like the look, I'll just re-ebay it to someone else. Also figure I can use "parts" of the kit if I want, without doing the full center stack (for example, arm rests etc). Guess we'll see when it arrives. From what I can tell, others who have used kits...

Very tempting, but I'm scared it might look bad or fall/peel off over time or whatever. Difficult to commit to making such a big change to the interior....mine's a titanium sedan, all black interior with black leather....

I will also do 2 more things: - maybe cut the car some slack, given how uber-cold it is (unusually cold) - try using the AC in conjunction with defrost to defrost the windows faster. I'll see how that goes first. Jarrett

I would but apparently it's just the car design - I've confirmed the problem with a few other Canadian owners around the net etc. Everyone says the same thing: snow on dash, lousy defroster.

In Edmonton, let's face it the winters suck hardcore. This is one of the worst ones yet for cold and snow. The heater/defroster in the Mazda 3 is, in my opinion, totally inadequate for this climate. Today on my 30 minute drive home from work - with fresh air set, and defrost and max fan power...

Im actually not sure. I didn't get those details. I did find out it's only 2 games - it's the "quest" package (mechassault, star wars KOTOR and an xbox system). Will get it when I pick up the car I suppose. Jarrett

I didn't hear. One of my local dealers emailed me the offer, so I called the dealer I purchased from and yep - I get the goods!

I just found out that I get 90 days no payments on my Mazda 3, a free Xbox, 3 free games and 2 months of Xbox Live for it! I bought the car before knowing about the promo, so this is icing on the cake!
