    Infotainment System Bugs

Lately I've been trying to see if I can use anything but my ALAC-loaded iPod with this thing. So far it won't play OGGs at all, crashes when it tries to read the stick. It sort-of plays AAC files, but without any tag info, never finishes scanning the stick, and won't shuffle...also it crashes...

    Infotainment System Bugs

Mazda hasn't been all that forthcoming with changelogs. Lately I'm finding myself wishing it supported FLAC files.

Grey'd out feature now in INFOTAINMENT system

Actually, no I won't. Because I'm not updating it. And my dealer isn't putting that firmware on anyone else either.

Grey'd out feature now in INFOTAINMENT system

Actually, no, because they aren't greyed out. And I'm also not paying $10 a month for my T-Mobile WiFi hotspotting.

Grey'd out feature now in INFOTAINMENT system

Umm, T-Mobile WiFi tethering is free. You better not be paying $10 extra for it.

    Infotainment System Bugs

Actually, I have to admit, Chrysler's uConnect system is the best in the business, bar none. It's unfortunate that it's attached to such terrible cars with terrible chassis and horrible drivetrains. Sometimes it's a matter of priorities.

    Infotainment System Bugs

Mazda caught on to the Android Car setup, for M.Y. 2015. I hope there's a way to upgrade our cars to use it as well.

    Infotainment System Bugs

I basically bought an iPod nano and am using that now. Too much trouble with MP3 USB sticks, you get random hang-ups, takes forever to read and cache the stick, and if you make changes it has to re-cache it, and it can't update the cached version it shows as a (1) instead. The only annoying...

    Mazda to support Android Auto

I suppose it'll depend on whether it's a software upgrade or if there's hardware requirements along with it. At this point our USB ports are not the ideal connection for Android phones, because they only slow-charge. If a phone is actively processing, you could actually end up using more power...

    Mazda to support Android Auto

Mazda among others anyway. I'm wondering if they'll just update our 2014s to support it, or if they're already planning on abandoning their existing systems. http://www.phonearena.com/news/Android-Auto-will-be-initially-supported-in-vehicles-from-28-car-brands_id57567

    Infotainment System Bugs

With all the bugs, maybe they should just switch to this: http://www.phonearena.com/news/Android-Auto-will-be-initially-supported-in-vehicles-from-28-car-brands_id57567

    When should you fuel up?

The reserve amount is a little over a gallon near as I can tell. I have a 50 mile commute in each direction, so I fill up when I won't make it, simple. Generally i fill up before the light goes on, though sometimes not much before. Sent from my LG-D800 using Tapatalk

    Infotainment System Bugs

I'm not here to get into a pissing match about which number indicates which platform wins, since anyone can choose a number in favor of their particular platform (such as Samsung's current sales being higher...but more activated iOS devices being active, etc, etc, etc). I'm here to make a point...

    Infotainment System Bugs

"Android" doesn't exist in the way you're thinking. Seriously. Samsung, LG, HTC, and the others all use very different, very customized versions of it, and they're all significantly different from vanilla Android. This is coming from an Android user since Froyo FYI (Well, the MotoBLUR version...
