We have not had a problem yet but I am concerned about this. Did you get the new one? Does it work better than the old one? Seems like the old one is not very strong at all. Complained about it many times to dealer and they said it is normal.

Lol, just did it and it was easier than I thought. Took a little more time taking off that bottom panel (10screws) but everything else was not a problem.

'07 w/ 18K on it. Average about 22/23mpg, total miles about 350's to 370's depending on highway/local driving. Our driving is mostly 80%highway. Been happy with mileage as it is a turbo CUV.

I kjnow this is an old post but can someone tell me what tool you need to take the canister off? Finally due for a change at 20K and will be doing this one myself. I think I see the canister in the front of the engine so not hard to get to but do not want to damage it.
