I just wanted to pop in and say congratulations! I opened the latest (to me) issue of Grassroots Motorsports and saw the familiar grey and blue MSP. Glad to hear it is still running well and that you're kicking ass!
Off-topic, but I saw a clean, blue MSP at the grocery store the other day...
I think I saw myself working a corner in your video! :D
Nice driving, the video does no justice to the speed on that layout. And the rain on day two was ridiculous. I can't wait for midwest monsoon season to be over with :D
I think the changes made to the stock class are good.
What I am skeptical about are where the old stock class drivers go... they have the "limited prep street prepared" classes now. The explanation on how that work isn't crystal clear to me. And even if it was, it is another confusing...
Okay I wondered what you were doing with the Go-Pro parts... that is awesome! You could get a giant phone or small tablet and have a nice, big display :D

With some stiffer springs and new tires, the car is finally performing closer to what I expected when I bought it. Now I can work on driving better and not hitting cones (apparently this car is a cone magnet with me in it). I've been pretty happy with the results as of late. I found my GoPro...
Old ass thread, but congratulations on the third place finish at Nationals! I had a couple friends at Nationals so I checked in on your times while I was stalking them via the live timing website.
Hey all
I'm nearing the end of my Protege parts... just a few things left to get out of the garage.
1. Stock Protege5 manual transmission guts (65-70k miles on them) - gone
2. Stock shifter $25 - no knob, no boot. Just what you see in this blurry pic
I have a couple parts left in my...
70k miles. I sold the coils and a couple other small motor parts with the head to a local guy--the EGR is still available. $15 shipped if you want it.
No.
