My wife is considering one. She is coming out of a MINI Clubman so the size will actually a bit bigger. The bad thing is, she likes it in Soul Red so it will be parked next to my Soul Red CX5.

I have the factory rails & crossbars. One thing they may come into play is that cross bars don't spread too far apart. The max distance is 26 inches from center to center of the cross bars when both are slid to front & back.
