    A/C compressor squeel?

Tried searching, but came up empty. Now that we've hit the colder season, my P5 is having a small issue. When the defrost or A/C is on, there is squeeling at idle that sounds much like a belt slipping. Tends to happen more when the car is cold. I'm guessing the bearing for the compressor is on...

    Finally a P5 owner - woot!!!

Looks quite nice, congrats! Only thing I can say is maybe sand/rust paint the brake rotor hubs and calipers when you have a free afternoon. Goes a long way to cleaning up the exterior look of the car.

EVO magazine's 100 Greatest Drivers' Cars Countdown

Proud to have owned an MX-5, enjoyed it, and tossed it around at the track. Truly the greatest driving experience of any of the cars I've owned and I'm glad to see that it received the recognition it is deserved of. All in all, a pretty respectable list.

Considering a Miata vs. P5. Help.

Only if you want it to. Oversteer comes on fairly predictably.

Considering a Miata vs. P5. Help.

Miata motors tend to run strong for quite some time. My only suggestion would be to lean towards the 1.8L rather than the 1.6L. I can't help you too much with prices as the Canadian market is different. If you don't find a truly sweet deal on a Miata, I would say to stick with the P5. It's...

Considering a Miata vs. P5. Help.

I've owned both an NA (first-gen) Miata and a P5. To answer your questions: - The Miata is vastly superior to the P5 in the twisties. I began autox with my P5, moved on to the Miata, and never looked back. It is a lightweight, tossable, RWD convertible after all... - The Miata had been more...

an m3 parked next to me at school today

That's some quality MSPaintin' right there. :) Honestly, I'd say just go with the HID kit and enjoy. In all cases of throwing angel eyes or aftermarket lights on Protege's/P5's, the result has been tacky and out of place.

Looking at buying P5, looking for feedback.

P5's are excellent cars that look sportier than they are, with a good heaping of practicality. Ours has been above average in terms of reliability. Beware of rust, inspect thoroughly.

    Nice spoiler

These spoilers are hideous and expensive, proving that money can buy many things, but certainly not good taste.
