Should have fought it. I had a cop do something kinda like that when I was 18 in my Protege. Claimed he clocked me doing 57 in a 35, was only doing 42-43 and it was actually a 40 zone, while going around a corner in the opposite direction of travel. Fought it and got it thrown out.

Yeah, we CX-7 owners are cursed with a smaller turbo. There is no scanner that will say "turbo" as a problem. Even if your turbo was toast it would still run and drive. Cats could be clogged, the direct injection system fuggled from lack of fuel, or the engine just plain toast.

Just swap the brakes from the CX-9, with better pads of course, and problem solved. :) Might have to change the wheels out too though since I'm uncertain if the 18's will clear the caliper.

Might have to do that one.

Time for bigger injectors and a different turbo.

The practicality of the STI in wagon format is great but whoever styled the new gen needs to be shot. The Evo looks decent but not as nice as the previous gen IMO. So, I'd take either if I was given one. :p You can get the Evo in manual.

Pretty freaking amazing. I would have never attempted doing it on that budget. Here's hoping you keep it under the cap. (thumb)
