Yakima Load Warrior on OEM roof rack

I ordered both the Yakima Load Warrior and the OEM roof rack and the Load warrior came in already. I tried to measure the distance between the mounting spot for the roof rack but it seems that it will not accommodate the bracket of the load warrior. Is there anybody ordered the same items and did it work? The reason why I ordered the Yakima is because it is the one that is being shown in most of the Mazda 5 accessories shop online.

Are you saying that the Yakima Load Warrior won't fit becuse the support brackets don't (or won't) line up with the cross bars?

Move the support brackets though wait until you get the cross bars installed.

It wont line up because I measured it from bracket to bracket (bracket attached to the last two bars on both ends that will hold it) and it measured 30". The mounting spot for the OEM roof rack has a distance of 32".

So the brackets are not adjustable? That is, the bars cannot be moved closer together or further apart?

brackets are adjustable but they can only go 30" apart. It think the only solution to make it fit is to buy the extension which is another 100+ more. I returned the yakima and looking for some other option.. maybe thule
