These need a spacer of some sort, no?

That is what I have always read.

comparing them to the stock injectors they look direct fit to me

if you are referring to the injector to manifold "o-rings" then they are expensive, almost $50 retail

Talking to one of the engineers at work he suggested this site that you can get any kind of o-ring any size in several different materials. One of them being Viton. Any they look like they might be cheaper.

the ones in the mani arent really O rings. they are thicker and specially shaped. the O rings are in the fuel rail, which would work in the above link.

no spacers,direct fit

Well I'll be a son of a gun!

I shouldn't have sold mine. I was going to attempt to find something that was 100% direct.

I love how info varies from place to place on this board depending on where you read.... awesome.

RC's need a spacer, that I am almost sure of (and the clip of course). I think they told me that actually.

So I just bought some wrx injectors. I just recently swapped the o-rings between the stock injectors and intake manifold but do I also need o-rings between the injectors and fuel rail before I put the wrx injectors in?
