Damn thank god I got something in the mail. I thought I was gonna have to wait until after the autocross to update this b****. This just in from poland... my shift boot. All around good product and well worth the money. Below it is the old shift boot removed.
I come home today and recieve my brake pads. But then it gets even better. My turbo arrived! For once in my life I'll own a turbo'd car. This is gonna be fun. I'm looking at the downpipe though. I wish I could say that I am impressed but then I'd be lying. I could fabricate one nicer than this one provided. I'm gonna have to wait until things settle down and I get my income tax refund before I start going crazy on the miata. I'm glowing and gloating.
lol at first I saw that you got a turbo and looked at the pic and thought "that manifold doesnt look right" then i saw it was for your miata.....derrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Sorry roy it was a new camera so I messed up when I recorded you from the side. I'll post more pictures when I get home. I got some good still action shots of you though
Got two weeks to put this brake system back together so I got started just in case there was a problem. Tonight I pulled the master cylinder and flushed the fluid out of it. I busted my knuckles too. Here is a pic of the master cylinder removed. I'll be getting to the brake booster tommorrow hopefully. I'll take a wire wheel to it and strip the paint off and then give it a nice new black coat of paint.
It seems from the pictures roy that your car definitely doesn't have a problem with body role. I bet if you just got a thicker sway bar and some softer springs you would be in a much better position
Booster put back in after a wetsand and flat black paint. If I had to install it again I would have put electrical tape over the top of the bell to keep it from getting scratched by the flare nuts. It's a dam tight fit and you also have to make sure the connector lines up on the inside so you can slide the cotter pin in. All is done but I found out the brake master I got had a extra hole in it that my car does not use. I'm talking to the ebay seller right now. Here is the booster installed.
Waiting on the new master cylinder. If anyone needs a master cylinder I gotta recommend The Parts Outlet.com They understood my timeline with Laguna Seca coming up on the 12th so they sent another one out to me this morning. Anyway I'm just trying to stay busy. I cleaned my proportioning valve and painted the bracket along with that uim tubing hanging on the chain in the background.
