Ok I am heading to the race track next week(which is a 350 miles roundtrip) I plan on installing two 225 45 16 drag radials in the front and keeping the stock 215 45 18 in the back. Will these be ok to get me to and from the track safely?

why don't you carry a good jack and use the stockers to drive to and from, and change them at the track

Well I am actually using BFG G Force KDW 2's on the front(some consider it a drag radial, some dont?) Also I dont have anywhere to keep my wheels and jacks at the track while I am racing, so I would rather just swap them at home before I leave.

KDW2's are NOT drag radials. You have nothing to worry about.
