Widest rims that can fit on a 2010 MS3???

Hey I just bought a new 2010 MS3 and i wanted to get some new wheels. everything on the car is stock including all suspension. I was curios as to what would be the widest size rim and tire i could run with the stock suspension without any rubbing issues? Please tell me the size of the rim along with the tire size and offset. The rims will be 18 inch.

I've got a set of 18x9 +45 offset off my RX8 that I'm thinking about throwing on my MS3...I'm sure I'll have to change out the tires though. I was running 275/35s on the 8, not sure the 3 could handle that.

could fit a 10 if you wanted to stack spacers and let that thing stick out of the car. i have 18x8.5 and the stock rubber is all you can get in there without spacers. i can not even get my pinky finger between the tire and the strut.

What offset are you running?

I run 19x9 Konig Afterburners with a +35mm offset and Corksport springs with absolutely no issues.

I just ordered some 17x9 with +38. 255/40r17. some other mazdas are running this. I am lowered so may have to roll. or just put 245/40r17 in rear. Will let you know wednesday when they are in.
