You will have increased steering feedback and accelerated front end wear. It's usually best not to dick with the factory steering angles.

I'm not using any but i'm following along. Im interested in seeing how they look. Was thinking of getting some spacers for my car.

So I ordered some wheel adapters, 25mm and these is how it came out. Using the stock 16's, let me know what you all think.

Not bad, as far as getting the wheel flush with the fender goes. I don't think I would put spacers/adapters on my car tho, I don't like the gap it leaves between the wheel and brakes, makes it look empty behind there. I'd rather just get wheels with smaller offset

That's what alignments are for.

Car looks good, need to see pics of the whole car though, not just closeups.

I plan on getting rims with a good offset, but for now just doing it to give it a good stance.

Which adapter? Might do this for mine. I prob wouldn't trust spacers but adapters seem like a sensible way. As for extra space in front of brakes... not really different from running lower offset wheel...

The ride is good for all four with the nuts came out to about $84-$86 shipped to the house. Had them on the car for about 2 months and all is good. Just make sure when you do this just torque the nuts. I DID HAVE TO HAMMER THE FENDERS OUT A BIT WAS RUBBING BADLY, BUT THEN THE COILOVERS WERE SET A LITTLE LOW SO HAD TO RAISE IT UP A BIT. WHEN GETTING THEM GET THE 25MM 1" ADAPTERS, ANY BIGGER AND YOU WILL BE STICKING PAST THE FENDERS.

I might try 20mm. 25 seems too much. Gonna run 205/45/16 on 2" drop. Should look good.

It is different. Distance between mounting surface and the back side of the spokes usually stays the same or if it does differ, it's a very little; except on concave wheels wider than 8". When changing wheel offset you're moving the mounting surface relative to the width of the wheel, not relative to the spokes. When adding spacers/adapters you're moving the mounting surface relative to the brakes, not changing the offset of the wheel.

yes, but presumably when a wheel is offered in multiple offsets, they machine off more or less of the mating area to create that offset. the actual casting/forging couldnt really be different. too expensive. i guess for the spacers just take the time to paint them the same color as the wheel and it would be less noticable.
