Where to get a 'Dead Pedal'?

That's how it looked to me. Therefore I'm planning to do the cover that Martines showed in post #31. This dead pedal area gets lots of use.

MazdaUSA just listed "alloy pedals" as a new accessory, and one is a foot rest:

Holy hell that's expensive. $57 for EACH pedal. WTF. Anyone know if these are snap-ons? On my 2004 Mazda3, they came in a set and were cheaper. And you removed the rubber pedals and snapped on the aluminum ones.

Update: Checked on eBay and they have better pics, yeah it's screw on.
