What is this sensor?

Hi,

I'm doing some work on my car and realized this sensor (I think it's a sensor) was already "fixed" with some epoxy but it was cracked so I removed it.

Someone knows what is it?

My transmission is broken so I won't be able to drive the car for a while and I would like to fix this sensor at the same time as working on the transmission ;-)

I don't know enough to recognize what it is, but I could look it up...if I had some basic info.

Whelp, I've failed to figure it out. It looks like a PCV valve and hose...but the diagrams don't seem to line up for it. I don't think it's a sensor.

Does it plug directly into the intake?

I don't know if they broke off part of the intake or the tube. If it's the tube, I'd buy a new one, if it's the intake, I'd probably try an epoxy.

It's for vacuum, if it leaks, it will probably cause bad idle among other things.
