Ok so I havent seen a thread like this for us 99-00 guys so I thought I would start one.

Removal of heat shield. Reason: trying to find where the rattling is coming from still no solution.

Made temporary ball joint boots out of duct tape and zip tie. I know it is ghetto but it should keep the dirt and moisture out for a few months so I can get lower control arms.

There is already a protege thread, its bad enough we have p5, protege and msp threads for the same car but to make a 99-00 thread is just pointless. You have a 3rd gen.

i figured out where it is coming from its either my clutch or the exhaust so hopefully it will be gone when i get rid of both stock clutch and midpipe

its not turbo right now. don't get me wrong it hauls ass, but its only got 100-110 miles on it...just finished monday night at 1158pm. have another 1400 to go for break-in. i've gotten up on it and it freakin goes, but i don't go past 4500

idk i was going to do that parent taught thing but my dad dont have a good driving record for three years (requirements for him to be the instructor) soo i have to go to a school which is going to cost 345 but its so close i can walk there in like 5 min they said they would pay for it for my birthday which is like 20 days away its sep 13 so idk. if they dont do it worse case ill have to get a job instead of buying parts for the car pay for the driving school(gah)

did you mix in the additive I dont think ive ever filled my fluid with any thing but water since the day my dad got the car but im going to change that

8.5:1 pistons for the fs will net 9.1:1 in fp
