So I just checked out KBB for the value of my car, in very good condition it's...... (drum roll please)...... $6800 I think it's nearing that much in damage. They still need to pick her up and sender to the collision center. Here's another pic of the entire front...
Both fenders, are bent, the beam that's connected to the frame is bent, power-steering reservoir is crushed, bumper is gone, not sure about the wheel well, the main belt is loose, so not sure if something got shoved in there, radiator is gone (leaked all coolant fluid), headlight is toast, not sure about the other one, might have broken tabs. I think it might be nearing the value of my car . I still hope it can repaired.
Take off all aftermarket accessories and install bold tires and start shopping. I'd say you are easily looking at $7k-8k damages here.
I had a 2012 that got written off with less damages then this.
Installed a Kinivo BTC450 kit in the 5, works perfectly with my Pioneer HU! Thanks to the guy who posted about it three pages back, i bought one for me and one for the wifes new 2010 CRV.
So my insurance company has told me my car is a total loss I pretty much knew it. Didn't even get a chance to do it's maiden road trip we where going to take to Lake Tahoe late in the year. What a sucky week (car wise)
Well I'm not sure I'll get another 5. But I do believe I'll stick around in the Mazda family. You won't get rid of me that easily!
