What happened to the LED fog lights post?

Hmmm... went through my e-mail trash to find a thread reply notification and it's definitely been deleted. Found the website, but now I'm a bit hesitant to order since I'm not sure why the thread was deleted? Could it have been due to negative reviews?

good observation. with that being said, I will be ordering HID fogs instead.

Seems like HIDs will involve a more complicated install, where the LEDs are just plug & play. Can you point me to a thread about the HIDs? Have you researched them? Brand? Price?

The HID install is very simple. The only problem i had was with bulb length (i drive a p5). I don't know if they are all the same length, but i rigged them up to work. All you really have to do is find the connection, and plug the right wire into the right side of the connector on the factory harness.

Really? I thought they required a separate ballast for each one and required a bit more in-depth wiring?

All HID kits I've seen do indeed have a ballast requirement.

HIDs are plug and play! The hardest part is where to stick the Ballast!
Granted, it looks more complicated but once done, your car will thank you!

i came from a Subaru and i apologize for bringing in another company on this forum (recently traded in the Subie for my CX-9) but check this post out. An example of what I did in the past. I seen no reason why it can't be done on our CX-9s
