Vehicle speed sensor location

On the top near the back, it's #1 on this diagram:
If you have ABS, the ECU makes use of the wheel speed sensors so the sensor in the transmission is left out (it's replaced with a dummy plug).

Hi CheeseHelmet,
I see your note about the ECU. What is that in the pic? I have ABS, so...is the ECU no. 2 in the diagram?
I failed to tell you that I recently replaced the left/driver REAR ABS sensor and the light remained on. The mechanic told me that the passenger Rear side also needs replacing.
Would this have anything to do with the issue I described to you in my private message? Meaning, could he possibly have installed it incorrectly and caused the issue? And/or having the second one out?
