Using Phonebook with 2010 GT

Successfully paired 3 phones with my new-to-me 2010 GT

• Blackberry Bold
• Motorola Atrix (Original)
• iPhone 4

I can only load the phonebook from the iPhone 4 - the download attempts but fails for the other 2 phones.

The phonebook is clearly loaded and I can browse it but when I attempt to make a call she says "phonebook empty". Is it possible that you can only make a call from the downloaded phonebook by physically selecting it from the touchscreen and not via voice recognition?

She does offer to create a new entry somewhere. Any info on the quirkiness of the phonebook appreciated.

The phone settings on this car are embarrassingly awful. The "phonebook" that the voice control is looking for is *separate* from the phonebook you upload. THAT phonebook needs to be entered, entry by entry, thru the voice control. To access the nav phone book, you need to do it thru the nav screen--and it cannot be edited--only deleted or mass uploaded. It's pretty frustrating. I just wanted to change 1 contact, but had to delete the entire phonebook, and re-upload.
