turbo and exhaust question

I plan to run 200bhp on fsde, 7-8psi boost with proper tuning, I searched here the stock exhaust pipe size is 2".

I run with no cat, and will put a T3 .63A/R T04E 60trim turbo which will lag.
I wonder if a 2.5" exhaust is really necessary for the setup.
At what rpm I can get 5-6psi of boost with that turbo?

A 2.5" exhaust will get you there. That size is good for up to 250whp and maybe a little bit more. But after that, I would go 3". I believe CustomMSP is running that size exhaust and is hitting about 197whp at 8psi with just exhaust, intercooler, intake mani and intake.

hey man if thats all the hp you wont you dont need that big of a turbo. i would use a t46. it will make more power then 200 if you wont and it will be at full boost at 3600 to 4100 rpm that where you need to be.
