Sadly I sold my CX-9, and while selling my "custom made" roof bike rack, I realized some of you CX-9 dudes might like my invention.
I wanted a low profile bike rack, and since I already had the factory cross bars for my roof rack, I realized my Thule bike mounts I already had from an earlier car would mount securely with simple stainless steel hose clamps.
Since I was an active biker I didn't take the rack on and off so this system worked ideal for me as long as I owned the car. Looked great, and saved me hundreds of dollars as new a Thule rack is $$$.
