Hello friends I have a mazda protege 1999, 1.6cc, automatic transmision. I need help because the O/D off ligth is flashing a few minutes after run the car.... Any body help me ???

Do you get a CEL ?

If the o/d light is the only thing flashing might be some wireing problems

Codes will be stored if the O/D light is flashing. CEL is for the powertrain system, O/D flashes when there is a transmission problem. This can be multiple problems, but it has to do with an upset with an input to the PCM. Ie. bad in speed sensor.

You'll need to get the code pulled then go from there with diagnosis.

Go to autozone and ask them to scan it for you, they do it for free. Then post up what code came out
