Ok so Im not sure which section to post this in, so seeing as I have a P5 its going here.
So I know what components I need to swap my transmission from an auto to a manual so I am good there.
But what years of manual transmissions are compatible?
I have a 2003 so will I need to get a 2002-2003 tranny or can I go as far back as say the 99 or possibly even earlier? I know that the proteges, probes, and 626's all share the same 2.0L engine with slight revisions over the years so that is why I am wondering if only certain years will work.
