Tom Tom Map Update

Hello all,
I've been checking the Tom Tom versions every day because I am due for my 1 free update.

When I refreshed the Tom Tom page this morning, Ver 915 August 2013 is now available. Hope to do the upgrade when I get home tonight.

Is there a way of listing what the updates are?
If I do a windows update it tells what the updates are, if I want to know.

And are the updates those of TT or those submitted by owners?

There's a European map update to 915.5121, also updates for "quickfix" which change weekly so the TT can lock onto sats more quickly and are suggested to be downloaded regularly..weekly!!, also there are map updates sent in by owners.. "communitee" any or all can be downloaded by selecting appropriate tick box. However I'm just cursing the length of time to get the new map.. quoting 6 hours for the full 300+ mb, suppose that's what you get for living in rural Northumberland 3 miles to nearest exchange, downloading at 1.7 mb! Just had a server timeout and will have to start again, TT home seems to recount the time to download so it looks as if it's going up but then continues from where it left off....only 2 hours left.
