Tire diameter and AWD failsafe

Saw this in FSM...

It appears AWD system in CX-5 will protect itself if it detects a tire diameters out of spec.

Going a little off track on my own thread and not recommending anyone do this but one could probably tie in their own toggle switch and relay to lock in AWD in the rear. This would undoubtedly cause all kinds of system errors and not advised as it may cause an overheat condition in the rear end if left in for long periods of time.

Not only would I not recommend disabling this function by installing a bypass switch but I would actively recommend that this not be done.

There is a reason the AWD function is disabled if it detects too much slippage if all four tires are not the same diameter.
