So its time to get new tires for my P5. The tires I have now are sized 205/45/17 on a 17x7.5 rim with 48+ offset. Now I know that a 215/40/17 will fit no problems but I'm also looking at 215/45/17 in order to put down a touch more sidewall. My question is will the larger tire fit with no rubbing issues and also is it even worth trying to put on the larger tire or is the 215/40/17 just fine.
