Ticking Noise

Hi guys,
Have anybody fix the Ticking Noise from the intake manifold on a 2004 & up Mazda 3 2.3 engine?

i have an 04 2.0 and mine ticks too... from what ive seen its the lifters in the intake manifold, and the only way to fix is to replace the IM, but the noise will just come back after another 30K miles or so, so im just gonna live with the noise, since it isnt doing any other damage

i had my IM replaced because of the ticking sound... the sound went away for 10k and now its back. Nothing serious. If you have the warranty go ahead and replace it, if not i wouldnt worry about it. I have a 2004 mazda 3 2.0 engine

ive been told that running seafoam as an additive in your motor oil helps revitalize the lifters and quiets the ticking noise, but i dont know for sure if it works. all i know is that the noise isnt going to do any damage
