Three Step Detail

Ok I used the clay bar for the first time.. Just to let you know that I'm now a convert. My idea of a properly waxed car has been elevated to a new level. Its not enough that it looks shiny and clean. It has to be smooth or slick to the touch without any sign of 'grit' whatsoever.

Next question, how to you guys remove those dust that cling to the waxed surface after a short trip?

There are so many names for the spray:

"Showroom Shine"
"Quick Detailer"

Use that with a clean cloth, preferably, a micro fiber towel. Also, if there are some stubborn spots on the paint. Use the claybar as it does not remove wax.

As far as helping the dust problem, next detail you do, try some finishing wax that is labled as "anti-static". It will alleviate the dust problem. (drive2)
