Think my P5 just died

Was driving home from work today and all of a sudden I started hearing what sounded like a piston head bouncing around inside the engine. I could actually feel the knocking in the gas pedal and shifter. Rod knock has been suggested but I won't know until the shop has a chance to look at it.

I'm fully anticipating needing a engine rebuild or a complete replacement of the motor. Anyone know what current options are for replacing a motor in a P5 and costs?

in richardson texas JDM engine corp is a good company i picked my tranny with a lsd up there for 525-575, it was in good shape

call the guy and see if he has a klze and i try to haggle him, say you found a better price but you dont want to wait for it to be shipped and ask if you can pick out your engine
