The quietest and most comfortable tire ?

Please offer your recommendations on best touring tire. Pulling out of the tuning/performance world ....for now. I am pretty familiar with performance summer tires. Not so much with the other side of the spectrum . Any recommendations highly appreciated. Don't really care for performance on dry/wet. I can deal with slight variations in either direction. I want this cx 9 to be the most comfortable ride possible. Tires is the first step. Thanks

it seems that multiple sources point to Michellin Primacy MXV4 as THE s*** when it goes to comfort. Anyone?

I should also add that I will have designated winter set so maybe summer tires would be a better option? My experience tells me though that summers in general are more noisy than all season?

I think this is a subjective thing, like the best sounding speakers.

most tires when new will be pretty quiet, and get noisier as they wear, but we are used to it by that point.

anyway, I'v running Mastercrafts on my 9, and they are great. I KNOW they are great because my wife isn't complaining about them.

I'm pretty happy with the Bridgestone Ecopia 422s. Pretty highly rated all around at Tire Rack.

I love my Michellin Primacy MXV4. Quiet ride and good grip. They are pricey though.
