Pretty much said. The Mazda was just too slow, I enjoyed the car while I had it and i'll still see all you guys at the track and @ life. Here's a small montage dedicated to the P5.

Congrats! Did you trade in the P5? If so, what dealer and how much did they give you for it. WRX looks awesome in white!
 
Yea, traded in. Dealer gave me 11k for it. I owed 12 on it. Put down the negative equity in cashola.

The p5 is now sitting on the used lot and they want $13,995

Sweet. How much did you get the Suby for? What options too?
 
umm. hmm where do I start.

$25,700 thats pretty much MSRP, not much room to haggle when you talked the dealer UP into giving you $2000 more for your trade in.

Options.. jeez there's not many options avalible.
But heres what I know I got, and here's what I know I didn't get.

Impressions:
This car kicks ass! The stock tires suck.
Here's what I found already...
it is a bit floaty but once it hits the limit the tires bite and it's like a freight train i tried it this morning I did it on a nice 90 degree style downhill right hander it was like, understeer understeer, push push, more throttle HOLY s*** HANG ON whip it.. whip it good.. it was the BOMB! :)

.....and I already ordered a Kartboy short shifter.
 
Thrax, what options and how many miles did you have on the Protege 5? I'm trying to see if dealers are giving me a fair trade in price on mine.

Cool man! And your not stoopid :) I wanted to know options for both the P5 and the Suby and you answered both my questions. Thanks for your help!

I wonder how much they would give me. I have the same options you do, plus leather, polished alloys, moonroof, 6 CD, factory sub, and the roof rack. So I'm thinking they'll give me $12K.
 
you paid 25,700 for that car.........damn. why the WRX? for the price your gonna put into it, you could of purchased a 350Z or something of that caliber...........not dissin', just wondering. congrats on the new car.
 
I hate the 350Z. ;) I drove it.

Dog heavy, no room, and a bad blind spot.

Only other car on my wish list was an EVO or STi those were at least 6k MORE then I spent.
