Went to dealer today to ask about upgrading firmware on my 2016 CX5, Service advisor asked why,I explained about the text message problem,,,He asked may I see your phone?(Galaxy S3) 15 seconds later he confidently "says lets go try it out",He sends me a text and just like that... text arrives and is read to me.I have had numerous people send me texts and every text is received and read.
When he had my phone he removed the app "clean master" from my phone because it has some type of security setting that will not allow messages to be downloaded to another bluetooth device.Some of you may have this app or one similiar to it,may be worth giving it a try...
