Swapping out Muffler on OEM MS3 Exhasut

So I have a N/A 2008 Mazda 3 Hatch and I've had the OEM Mazdaspeed 3 exhaust for about 6 months, resonator removed. The sound it produces is nice, but I want something different. I was thinking of swapping out the stock muffler but there are so many options. Many people recommend Magnaflow - but I see they have glasspack mufflers, street/race series and what not. Any recommendations out there?

Last note: I need a muffler with a 2.5" inlet correct? And a 2.5 outlet if I keep my OEM MS3 tip?

Correct on the sizing. DO NOT go over 2.5 you loose power and its just plain stupid. n/a cars NEED back pressure.

Id say the Magnaflow, or borla, Corksport makes a nice exhaust too.

I personally think speed3 exhausts sound bad on 3's, but if you change around the muffler and resonator you might be able to change the tone quite a bit.

I agree with everything xMazdax says on sizing. Borla's are notoriously quiet though.
