Swapping Mazda Wheels with TPMS

Hi, new to the forum.

I just bought a 2011 Madzda3 Sedan base model. My wife has a Mazda5 Touring.

So here is my question she wants my steelies since they are new tires, and I would love to put her 17"s on my car (evil). We both have TPMS, can you just swap wheels or is it more involved?

Well I couldn't wait and so far so good. Did the swap and no tpms light. So either they don't work at all and I will never get a light, or they are working fine. I suppose I could let some air out and go drive around?

If they didn't work you would have a solid light on the dash.

Do the sensors only send a signal if the air is low? Or stop sending a signal if the air is low? Or behind door number three always send signals, just different ones?
