I need some help with wiring my stock radio. Let me start by saying the previous owner who had my protege5 destroyed the wiring harness(scary mess of wires) and I had to replace it with an aftermarket one. Anyway, I just bought a 4ch amp wired through a SCOSCHE SLC4 LOC and installed it in my car, but im unsure about a couple wires not connected to anything.
1st: Mute (Brown) Wire coming out of aftermarket radio harness?
2nd: Power Antenna (Blue) Wire coming out of aftermarket radio harness?
3rd: Orange or red (dirty wire) Says "Negitive Dimmer" on stock harness?
What should I do with these wires?(uhm)
Everything else is wired up and working great, but my radio is super dim now to the point i can barely see the radio at night. And sometimes the radio randomly switch to tape when i turn the car on-off-on(acc) again.(unamused)
BTW: My amp is tapped into my 12 volt accessory wire from the aftermarket harness
