1. With engine automatic transmission operating temperature, shift through all
gears. Check fluid level in PARK and add fluid as needed.

Oil Drain Plug.....22-30 ft-lbs

Fill Plug.....29-43 ft-lbs
Drain Plug.....29-43 ft-lbs


CAUTIONS
ENGINE
Properly center oil drain plug gasket in
crankcase pan depression or an oil leak
may occur.
TRANS/DIFF
To check manual transmission level, remove
speedometer drive from the transmission.
Level should be between upper edge of gear
and lower edge of first flange.

Only 2 pr 3 % of the LX's made that year had that engine, info is difficult to find.
