I am looking to put together a new suspension setup on my 2003 Protege this year. I am looking at the Tokico Illumina struts on protegegarage with a set of sleeve coilovers. I contacted GC today to get some details on their coilovers that I couldn't find anywhere. I was wondering if there is anything special I have to do to use the GCs with the Illuminas? I know with some strut/sleeve coil setups there is more to it than just sliding the sleeve on the strut. I was also wondering if anyone has ever made extended tophats for their Protege? I was thinking it would be nice to do if I decided to make the car low to get some strut travel back.
