Shudder/Grinding and P0171 code

Hey guys i was hoping for some help. My mazdaspeed protege is suffering from a pretty severe grinding and shuddering vibration when i take off at low speeds. It only happens when i turn left so i can only assume that its a wheel bearing or cv joint. The noise also occurs when i accelerate in first or second gear (even going straight), although its much more subtle. Ive also had a persistent P0171 (running lean) code that wont go away even after i cleaned the MAF sensor. Any thoughts?

Persistent P0171 is probably a vac leak, the shudder is probably from the CV or wheel bearing like you assumed.

My p0171 was fixed by tightening the exhaust manifold. It had worked itself loose, and running seafoam through the intake manifold showed that a lot of exhaust gas was coming out around the sides. Might be worth looking in to
