Easy / good spot to mount it is right on your steering column. At least on the speed 6 one of the cheapy metal mounts folds nicely behind the wheel. With the gauge right between you tach / speedometer you can actually safely watch it while you drive . . .


I guess the center vents offer a clean look but not the most practical spot to mount the gauge you need to be looking at the most.
