Scratch headlight casing

I've done it..It works...Wet-sanding and buffing it out..But its not something everyone should try.
I have a nice 3 inch Polisher that I use for small painted pieces..If I didnt have this..It would be almost impossibble.

Sweet! I just picked some of this up today. Did you just hand buff it with a waxing pad??

apply with a soft foam pad. meguiars has some you can pick up at autozone

yup, just hand buffed it...It got out almost 80% of the scratches, so im sure if i use a buffer it'll finish the job

Good, I am hoping this will get rid of alot of my pitting on my lenses

I wudnt do sanding. I used 2000 grit and it really didnt do anything but got some white stuff off the lenses. I used turtle wax rubbing compound and went over it with the meguirs plastix X twice. It polishes, and removes the hazed. but if ur scratched scratched then ion no what to tell yah. My headlights looks like the plastic has been melted or something though.

Just used Meguiars PlastX and man! I sware up and down that stuff now. I buffed the headlights real well two or three times and they look brand new!
