Rough Idle

My engine has started idling rough. I recently replaced all of the engine mounts and the transmission mount. So it may have been idling this way before and I thought it was all in the worn out mounts. But I noticed that if I rev it and hold the RPM's at 1000 instead of the 650 or so the engine smooths out. Any one have this problem before? I have not engine codes or other issues.

Inline 4 cylinder engines typically don't idle very smooth, I installed solid motor mounts and they needed time to break in. The stock mounts are designed to dampen all the vibrations that you are feeling now with the solid mounts. If the tach is steady and it runs fine then you don't have any problems.
