Replace 2014 Lift-Gate with 2016 Lift-Gate compatibilty?

I was involved in an accident and my rear bumper and lift gate was damaged on my 2014 CX-5 Sport. I found a 2016 CX-5 Touring AWD lift gate and bumper with the same paint code. I am concerned about having it transfer over. It appears to have the same glass color, but I am not sure if there any issues that would prevent me from swapping them? Any help is appreciated!
