Rear parking sensor pushed in

Hey folks, any ideas how to repair this rear sensor? Not sure how it happened, I imagine something broke so ill need some sort of adhesive to hold it back in place.

I tried prying the outer housing out but stopped because I thought I could make it worse. Whats the proper way to go about this? Special tools or anything?

I am pretty sure you need to get behind that and see what clips on the retainer have broken. If you look in that hole there are tabs that hold that sensor in place and at least one is broken.
