Well, the sound is just getting worse lately. It seems like metal to metal. I suspect it from my rear passenger side. I check my suspension and everything is tide. I suspect my rear strut mount is dying. I have Mazdaspeed adjustable strut with Eibach spring and a stock Strut Mount. The strut mount has been almost 2.5 years. Is it possible that the strut mount is dying? Any idea what might cause the sounds? Thanks guys

Spare tire, jack, upper strut mount could be loose, the rubber isolator could be shot-and the spring could be clunking around.

that happened to me about 4 months ago. Somehow my brake caliper was messed up and it stuck the brake pad to the rotar. After about a week of not knowing what the sound was my whole wheel locked up. Mazda paid for a new wheel, rotar, brake caliper, and brake pad. get that checked out

My rear springs kinda bang around so it seems. tein s-techs with tokico HP's. I thought the rear strut mounts were welded in? Not sure how they could come loose?
