I have a 07 ms3. i have cobb sri with a greddy type s bov. i have the mazdaspeed cbe and i also have the race pipe installed, replacing the catalytic converter. Now before I had the race pipe installed, the bov would make the "normal" sound when I shifted gears. But now it doesnt make that "normal" bov sound. Is that normal or should I be worried?

u should be worried....i dont think that race pipe had to do with ur BOV sound, make sure check all ur vacuum. by the way i heard ppls having problem with that BOV....

Agreed. Especially if you run a BOV (VTA), exhaust mods should have no effect on the BOV's behavior. Even if you were running recirc, I don't think there'd be much feedback from beyond the turbo.

I'm a complete 100% retard but check where the bov mates to the cold pipe, as that could've become loose, check your vacuum hose, other hoses, connections, and clamps. Oh and check all your boost connections.
